Excess CONDITIONS

When renting a boat, we always ask for a deposit, but whereas in previous seasons you signed an authorization form for the deposit, from 2026 onwards the deposit will actually be paid in advance—this can be done with debit or credit card.Even if you pay off the deductible, the security deposit still applies.

The deposit serves as a guarantee for any damage or loss. Would you rather take to the water without any worries? Then you can choose to buy off the excess for a fixed amount.

Clear conditions apply to the redemption of the deposit. Damage or wear and tear resulting from normal use is covered by the deposit redemption and will not be charged to you. In the event of misuse or careless use—for example, reckless sailing or improper handling of materials—the deposit redemption does not apply and the costs will still be charged.

This way, you always know where you stand: Carefree enjoyment on the water, with clear agreements in advance.

Bij normaal varen en manoeuvreren bent u volledig verzekerd voor schade.
Niet inbegrepen bij de afkoop:
- Verlies van fenders of andere inventaris
- Schade bij vastlopen of omslaan van het schip
- Schade door opzet of onachtzaamheid
- Kosten voor assistentie of berging (bij vastlopen, omslaan of pech)
- Electric outboard motor + battery

TORQEEDO OUTBOARD MOTOR

The Torqeedo electric outboard motor combines power with silence. No more pulling on a starter cord, no exhaust fumes and hardly any noise, you can sail smoothly and relaxed on electric power.

Four boats are equipped with a Torqeedo outboard motor. Two of these have a remote control from the cockpit, allowing the motor to be easily operated from a seated position.

The outboard motor remains attached to the boat and is secured with a lock. The battery can be easily disconnected and charged at any standard power outlet.

At average cruising speed, the motor can run for approximately 2.5 hours and its power is comparable to a 3 hp outboard motor. For longer trips, an extra battery is also available for hire, allowing you to increase the range as desired.
