Welcome to the nicest marina in Friesland. Our attractive, full service marina is located in the middle of the Frisian lake district, so you have direct access to the open water.

Within walking distance you will find the cozy center of Heeg, with various stores, restaurants and other facilities. Would you like to spend a weekend sailing in a Valk or in a comfortable cabin boat? Or will it be a day of relaxation and enjoyment in an electric sloop? Would you like to picnic on our covered picnic boulevard or spend the night in our cozy hiker's huts? Would you like to camp with your caravan or camper directly at the harbor?

Or do you choose our fully equipped tents or a stay in one of our four luxury houseboats? It's all possible, and in addition to all of this, we offer many other activities on and around the water with family, friends or companies.

At Hoora Recreation you can also find permanent berths, winter storage and service for open sailboats, compact sailing yachts and sloops. The hoisting of boats is possible up to 8 meters and 2000 kg. Our reception is open 7 days a week during the boating season. We are your starting point for an adventurous, sporty and carefree stay in Friesland.

Hoora is also the right place for winterizing your open sailboat or sloop.

We provide hoisting and winterizing of your boat from our location on the Golden Boaijum, after which it is stored on trestles and covered with a winter cover on our premises. Sails are presented by us to the sailmaker for repair where necessary and stored dry in our basement. In the spring your boat will be completely technically checked and waxed, after which it will be handed over for a new carefree sailing season.

Any work is taken care of by us at the marina or our own yard, or carried out by third parties by arrangement. You can also contact us for engine maintenance and engine storage of both conventional and electric engines.
