They have direct cooling of the water and no transmission on a shaft so there is less energy loss. POD motors are very quiet and save space on board due to their compact size. Our Aquatro POD engine is designed in-house and is the most hydrodynamic model among POD engines. This makes the Aquatro POD extremely suitable for sailing boats.
