POD engines
POD motors are mounted underwater in, for example, the keel or rudder or under the boat. This type of electric motor can also be used for steering and is often used on sloops. They have direct cooling of the water and no transmission on a shaft so there is less energy loss. POD motors are very quiet and save space on board due to their compact size. Our Aquatro POD engine is designed in-house and is the most hydrodynamic model among POD engines. This makes the Aquatro POD extremely suitable for sailing boats.

Integrated into a compact system, the battery is easier to lift than an internal combustion engine and therefore also easy to carry and charge in any outlet. The included remote control also gives additional convenience of operation because you no longer have to go up onto the rear deck. With a full battery you can sail for approximately 1 hour at full power. Our 1kw motors are suitable for boats up to approximately 750kg.
